Reduce Photo Weight With JPEGmini

My wife loves to take pictures. A lot of pictures. Just recently her MacBook Air started to warn her that its hard drive is out of space. We had to do something. Looking at our options, we wanted to archive some old pictures and keep only the newest ones on her computer. Another option was to move her entire iPhoto library to external drive. However, none of it sounded awesome.

I remembered I read a while ago about the app called JPEGmini that takes original photos and makes them lighter while keeping the original resolution and the quality. The description on the App Store confirmed it:

Recently I took the time to create a location based app that would simply get my location and show nearby places… Facebook has this feature built in. For this project I had to use Google Places API.

While doing my research, I stumbled upon Google Places Library by Joshua Drew on Github. I decided to refactor his project by converting it to Objective-C ARC. As I expected, I was greeted with errors:
